My husband has owned his own business for the past 6 years and until January 2009, had been quite successful.  He's an Electrical Engineer who does computer automation (to put it in a nutshell).  Last January, all of his clients cancelled all future jobs due to the economy (of course).  Since January 2009 he has applied for hundreds of jobs posted online for contract, part-time, permanent positions.  He has 30 years experience and tailors every resume to meet the companies requirements and has even used the ad's exact wording because (in most cases) the jobs advertised "fits him to a tee".  My question is "WHAT IS GOING ON"?  He can't even get to the interview process because he doesn't even get a phone call or email response.  Do these jobs even exist and if not, why are they advertised?
