Needs to understand that his party lost and he should take his sour grapes some place else.  It should be embarrassing to the Republican party that their former Vice President seems to have an issue with letting go.  He is no longer in office and the Republicans lost the office for one very good reason - America was sick of the George W. Bush/ Cheney/ Rovian approach to world politics!

""Here's a guy without much experience, who campaigned against much of what we put in place ... and who now travels around the world apologizing," Cheney said. "I think our adversaries — especially when that's preceded by a deep bow ... — see that as a sign of weakness."

Only Cheney would see it that way - which is why the world disliked the administration he was a part of.  Respect for others is not weak.

Oh yes it has... Al Gore took his swipes at the Bush Administration.  However, if there is any defense of it at all he was at least heavily involved in the Climate Change discussions and that is a good deal of what he talked about but he did question the Iraq policy.

Cheney, on the other hand, didn't wait for the paint to dry on the Oval Office door before condeming the new administration.  He also has no visible hobby/ job other than taking swipes at President Obama.  He needs to retire somewhere far, far away without internet or phone.  LOL

I will agree with you that at this point in his Presidency, President Obama needs to lose the "Bush left this" mantra.  It has gotten old.  However, that does not let Cheney off the hook for uncivilized behavior.  :-)

I don't believe Al Gore is a part of this administration so how does that apply?  As well, there is another saying, "Take the higher road".  Many politicians need to learn this one more so than your quote.

Are you talking about the same higher road that Jimmy Carter took?

NEW YORK (Nov. 30) — By a wide margin, Americans consider Rush Limbaugh the nation's most influential conservative voice. Those are the results of a poll conducted by "60 Minutes" and Vanity Fair magazine and issued Sunday. The radio host was picked by 26 percent of those who responded, followed by Fox News Channel's Glenn Beck at 11 percent. Actual politicians — former Vice President Dick Cheney and former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin — were the choice of 10 percent each. http://news.aol.com/article/rush-limbaugh-is-most-influential/790374 __________________ Dick's very influential, you know...

Jimmy Carter has been out of office for how long?  When Cheney has been out of office for 20 years let him feel free to blather away to an empty audience.  Right now he is being very disrespectful.

Seriously, where do you come up with this stuff?  Obviously you hate President Obama.  We get it.

He is only saying what millions of people are thinking, but don;t have the pulpit to do so.  Isn't he allowed an opinion?

Cheney has really taken not just hard swipes, but often ugly swipes at the current POTUS. He was recently asked if he plans to run in 2012, but pretty much said no.  However, I do think he will remain a loud voice in the conservative movement - his type of speak appeals to a lot of people who hate the President.

He has every right to be disrespectful to the new administration.  It makes him and his party look bad.
