Oy Vey!!

NEW YORK – By a wide margin, Americans consider Rush Limbaugh the nation's most influential conservative voice.

Those are the results of a poll conducted by "60 Minutes" and Vanity Fair magazine and issued Sunday. The radio host was picked by 26 percent of those who responded, followed by Fox News Channel's Glenn Beck at 11 percent. Actual politicians — former Vice President Dick Cheney and former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin — were the choice of 10 percent each.

______________

1)   Rush

2)   Glenn Beck

3)   Cheney & Palin (tied at 10% each)

LOL, well sueperman, the article cited a sampling of 800+ Americans, but it didn't break it down into particular groups. Here's a link straight for the horses'..     mouth.

Yes, I get what you're saying..    the other questions were multiple choice as well. This isn't a scientific survey by any means, but I did get a chuckle out of some of it.

Who do you think is the most influential Republican

Note that the article is from 10/25/2009 and the name of the list is "Here's a look at the 10 (well, 11) most influential GOP politicians"

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/10/25/AR2009102502246.html?nav=hcmodule

1. Sarah Palin: The former Alaska governor is the prime mover in Republican politics. Her memoir, "Going Rogue," immediately went to No. 1 on Amazon's bestseller list even though it is not being released until Nov. 17. And Republican operatives acknowledge that if you want to ensure a big and energetic crowd at a GOP event, Palin must be there.

grannie, to be honest...  I know this isn't a "scientific" poll, but it's a poll nonetheless, and quite interesting and amusing if you read the link to ALL the questions.
