For some reason the liberal press seems almost jealous of Salahis.  "Gone to far"...WHAT?  Obviously someone hired to do a job FAILED to do it....their fault?...I don't think so.  These low lifes have been pulling pranks all their lives and posting it on Facebook for crying out loud....is there any new NEWS here? Doesn't the Secret Service have a list of potential "pransters" along side the list of potential "terrorists"?  Give me a break.  Obviously their pictures of them along side Obama and the gangn (Biden...ya crack me up!) at previous events is nothing new and the SS have been dropping the ball for quite some time.

My question is...how did they get through the security at the White House if they weren't invited?? If anything it should be an eye opener of how easy it is to get to the President.

I agree, Kate!  Security totally dropped the ball on these two doofuses..  and if it can happen with them, it can happen with someone with ill intent.

I find it interesting that the media is not scrutinizing this angle....it's the "they weren't invited" and that's it. This is a national security issue and they are playing off as just some doofus' who want to rub elbows w/ the President.

The point you seem to be missing, is that these two HAVE and RELEASED the emails from someone within the administration.  Doesn't she hold the "fault" here, as opposed to throwing Secret Service under the bus?  Granted, they DID NOT do their job.  And should no longer hold that position, however, ultimately this couple (and I hate to give them any validity) did have "connections" to the White House.

I dunno, the reports I have read over the past week have indicated this is a serious security breach..   and IMO, not only should the crashers face charges, but whomever failed to do their job at the WH needs seriously reprimanded, and policies need to be reviewed.

And if some reports I've read are true...  that the SS is seriously over-stretched... then how 'bout we stimulate the economy and hire a few more?

The folks that crashed the state drinner were harmless this time. Sure I would think they broke several different laws, for with they should feel the full weight of any penalities the law provides for.

But the real problem is is that they got into where not only the President of the US was, but also there were several other high officials from both inside and outside the US. The real problem is the security hole that they got through. The investigations and news attentioin should be directed toward this problem and the protential of terrorist using the same security hole to gain access to high officials including the President.

Ok ~ I haven't heard the whole story, but I hope heads will role for this. The few quick clips don't really make it sound serious. I'm glad to learn otherwise.

I read most of my news, maybe that's why it's a little more in depth. This week, what little "news" I've seen on the telly has focused on Tiger Woods.  Pfffft.       : )

Yeah, her "bus" (read JET) tour has been all over the place, hasn't it?

But, SP didn't crash the WH..   these doofuses did. Security procedures need to be reviewed, revamped, and implemented from here on out, don't you agree?

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/emails-show-salahis-white-house-state-dinner-invite/story?id=9215516

While Jones was working to get them an invite, IT DIDN'T COME THRU. The Salahis gate-crashed.

But, that's the smallest part of the puzzle, IMO.  The SS, and whomever else is involved, dropped the ball in the worst possible way.
