I'm not sure you can help me but I'm looking for guidance as to taking action against my now past employer to receive vacation pay.
I have an issue and I need some expert advice. I recently gave my two week notice to my now, previous employer. The last week of the two week notice was used as a vacation week, with the "ok" from the Employer. (As I never heard back from him stating otherwise, nor did he respond to any other questions I asked, I presumed it was fine).
My vacation week was April 20-27th and I have yet to receive my vacation pay. I submitted the necessary time sheets; I sent the Employer email messages and have received no response whatsoever!
Living paycheck to paycheck, I now have bills that are due and can't pay them because not receiving that vacation pay has started to put me behind. I am entitled to this and I need to know what I can do to get this vacation pay of 48 hours!
Can you please advise me the best course of action to take?
