Tory, I have a question. My fiancee works for ######### a consulting company, whom is responsible for managing and operating Washington gas (the monopolizer of all the gas supplied to homes and businesses in the Washington metropolitan area). Around December she received notice that her company was going to outsource her position along with hundreds of other positions within and out of her department to Manila. At the time she was due to leave they told her they needed her to stay indefinitely because there was nobody in Manila trained in her position to do the job and that they liked her work. For months they hounded her with excessive work loads and mandatory overtime because they laid off the other Admin ####. that worked with her and the work load that was barely enough for the both of them doubled onto her. After she was able to catch up on the work they told her they were making some organizational changes and that they wanted to cut some cost. Again her job was being outsourced. After they told her she was to stay indefinitely they used her to catch up on work until they were able to effectively outsource her position to Manila. I feel that it is a disgrace that hundreds of companies that are held up by the American people are doing nothing for the American people. Her job along with thousands of other positions are being taken away and given to other countries, speeding up there economies while slowing ours. President Obama sited potential regulations on such actions during his campaign. Will these actions ever be put into play?
