If we are to live in a prejudice free world why do the networks insist on interviewing President Obama and his family with primarily african-american journalist.  It has taken place from the moment he announced his intent to seek office and the reporters covering the campaign have primarily been black.  People will never not see color of skin as long as the media portrays the disconnect between races.  We all know it still exists but the fact that we make special arrangements to have an african-american reporter interview the president does not send the right message to the youth of the world that does not see black and white.

It's crazy to think 'we' do not see color/race. To make that assessment is to assume one is blind or crazy. Race does exist but it's how we use it is what matters. We can break down barriers or we can continue to be oppressed but no matter how you look at it, race does exist and it does matter. I see color. I see Black, White, Brown, Red, Yellow etc. I see color, I love color and I would not want to live in a world without color. I love my white husband and how he gently holds his black wife. I see color and I love color...I also know how to "handle" color. It's ok to talk about it but just know how to talk. Peace.

Thank you for your heartfelt words. May you remain touched by, and with the true understanding that we humans are 100% such...one race--one god, wanting each of us to live this peace as god's will.
