Hi Tory,
I seem to be in a real pinch on finding a job. I was a financial analyst for one of the major banks. I had worked in Esoteric Asset Backed Securities for a year and half. This unfortunately means that I have too much experience for the many first year analyst training programs but not enough to qualify for an associate position, which is the next hiring level. My group was up and coming, so I did more theory research than practical modeling. I am having little success with find other institutional banking jobs. The jobs that I am finding are more accounting based. Is it time to move past trying to find institutional banking jobs and retool my skills for another industry?
Thank you for the advice
