This is a rather random question, but I have a dog who, at each meal time, brings three or four morsels of food onto our living room rug and leaves them there.  He gobbles down the rest of it, but continues to bring these bits and leave them behind!  No amount of coaxing can make him eat these parcelled out few bites, and no amount of scolding has curbed this repetitive, odd behavior.  Any insight as to why in the world he might be doing this and how to make him stop?  I've owned a lot of dogs in my life, but this one has me stumped!
