I saw the banner from the a women law firm that stated "Life is short. Get a divorce" and wondered if others with a longer life experience of marriage didn't disagree with their perspective.

My husband and I have had some very difficult times in our 30 years of marriage but when you really take a "longer" look at the option of divorce we haven't seen a true benefit of it.

I have a BS degree in Conflict Studies and he comes from a Mennonite background so perhaps these two things have influenced us differently than todays younger society?

Do you have a "plan" when you work with couples in conflict?
