I'm trying to enter the Financial industry after working in retail sales & property management for most of the years after I graduated from College in '92 with an Economics major.  I'm finding it very difficult and not quite sure what to do at this point, please help!

Depends on the type of position in the financial industry...if you're willing to be a financial advisor, there's ample opportunity with any number of major companies.  You should join a professional association.  Connect with people who are currently working in this field and ask them for leads and introductions.  Good luck--it's definitely possible if you make those connections.
