Any ideas for tonight? I'm getting a slow start.

We are having marinated grilled chicken, hot buttered noodles, and steamed veggies, for dessert, fresh cantalope and strawberries. Has anyone tried the Corbett Canyon Pinot Grigio? It is a cheaper wine, but very crisp, light and summery. I really like it. Julie

Working on weight loss still. Cold Salmom, tabouli salad, cold wilted sweet sour cabbage from friends garden (already), for me. Ham steak, and same veggies for hubby. Amanda

Yes, and Truning Leaf is good also. Like the Italian much better though. Amanda

I also like the Foxhorn brands, esp., the Pinot Grigio and the Cabernet Savagnion. The are like $5.99 for a 1.5 lt bottle, but they are terrific in taste. You can find this brand in your local store or even Walmart. Julie

We had chicken francese, sauteed spinach, hubby wanted some pasta so we had whole wheat pasta with some parmesan cheese and a caesar salad. It was so delicious. Denise

Recipe for chicken please. We had company in town for the past 3 days and my newly installed SIL is Russian and very particular about her food, so we ate out every night. Feeling the effects today. Can't cook though. Gas has been turned off because of a gas leak in my oven and can't be fixed for several days. Because this has been an ongoing problem for over a year I'm hoping my maintenance agreement will cover a stove replacement (that's what the gas company suggested - safety issue). Though I wouldn't mind a remodeled kitchen this is nor wouldn't be the way to go! Kaboom!!! Fortunately I made/froze some soup. Refuse to eat out again! Weather is cold and damp but no storms. Kathy

Probably something with beef and a green salad. I won't know for sure until I get home and check with the other half. I am doing Atkins (again... this time I am determined to stick with it) and really prefer familiar foods... so I am sure it won't be anything exciting.

I DID manage to stay on my diet, pretty well, while on my short road trip this weekend. THAT was a challenge though.
I carried along string cheese, tuna and lunch meat in a cooler to snack on so I wouldn't be tempted at gast stops, ate at a buffet for supper once (salad, shrimp and salmon) and had a chef salad for lunch the day we ate out.
