Long distance relationships are becoming easier to sustain because thechnology now lets us reach one another more quickly than ever before in history. However, the only way a long-distance relationship can work is if both people are happy in their own situation. If it's killing you to be apart, if your whole life is about waiting to see the other person, maybe you should put the relationship first, and change the other things that pull you to different places geographically. I believe it's worth giving up ten great jobs for one great love. I've seen that work out many times. Good luck to you and your long-distance partner, wherever you live!

Hello! My husband & I met online years ago. We lived over 15,000 miles away, & kept an on-going relationship for 2 1/2 years. The more trips we took to see each other, the harder our long distance relationship became, with heart-wrenching 'Good-Bye's' at the airport. If you are both very sure about each other, GO FOR IT!...MAKE THE MOVE!!! The truth of the matter is, a job is a job, & IS VERY replaceable. People ARE NOT. I'd rather take a 'lesser' job, then ever be without the man I love. You both are so lucky to have found each other. Good Luck in your decision. Lucy
