US brits do like to laugh at you over there. Jackson goes to court for suspected child abuse. Very week evidence, nobody comes forward to backup the claims, Jordi stays well away (why ?), he's found not guilty under your very own legal system and still you can't accept the decision. Weird - Yes, ecentric - yes, genius - yes, flawed - yes, abuser - apparently not judging by the evidence presented to his peers. There are two major crimes here. a) The Arviso mother obviously will stop at nothing to corrupt and manipulate her children. A common theme in many social circles in the states. b) The american legal system has allowed the career of a home grown 'American Dream' to be shattered with arguments, stories and speculation based completely on hear say. Jackson SHOULDN'T be sleeping with children, the parents should NEVER allow it, but even so, the case was far too week and should have never come to court. I do hope Jackson changes his image and becomes more accessible to the public. It's time to open the door for the benefit of his own sanity. As to whether any of you will take the time to listen will be another matter. Legal systems, media circles and consumers, how do allow this to happen ?

Moo, Moo, where you been man? Mesereau told Larry King tonight that MJ never actually "slept with boys" Mesereau said the MJ bedroom is like an apartment with two levels and accomadation for many. Mesereau said the DA put out speculation to the media in order to make it more difficult for MJ. Mesereau also said MJ was too trusting, but that he was completely innocent and has never molested a child. So apart from that, your posting is fair, Moooo, Moooo.. man, and really quite true!

I found that comment about Michael never actually sleeping in the same bed with little boys as quite interesting since I saw Michael Jackson, on TV, tell the world that he does in fact sleep in the same bed with children and that it's the most loving, natural thing you can do. I was waiting for a caller to challenge that but as was very apparent those callers are screened before the call goes live....every caller stroked Mesereau's ego. The only winner in this trial was Mesereau!

The only winner in this trial was Mesereau! _____________________________________________________ I totally agree. That's true for a lot of "non corporate" attorneys. We had family friend recently go through a divorce, and her attorney (which she met at her Church of all places) promised her the moon. The attorney's real motive was to try acquire as many billable hours as possible. Fortunately, my wife and I were able to step in and help this lady from being "financially assaulted" by her low life ?counselor".

semantics! Mj has openly, to the whole world, defended his practice of sleeping with other peoples children.

librepub__ => "I didn't say anything about what he did. What I said was maybe when he spoke he was referring to his own children..." In Bashir, MJ said that he was on the floor, while the Gavin was in the bed. However, he also admitted he has slept in the bed at the same time with *other* children. He talked of "squeezing" in together with the Culkin kids. Finally, when Bashir asked if it would be ok if he slept with his own daughters friends, MJ said it would be.

What difference does it make whose children they are? If sleeping with children is wrong (presumably because it leads to something else...so no one ever sleeps in bed without that something else)it is wrong no matter whose children they are. You must be aware that many child molesters molest their own children. I would say the reverse is true. If some parents can sleep in a bed with their children without molesting them, then a person who is not the parent can do the same. People who want to protect children suggest no sleeping with anyone's children to be safe. So let's all be safe...unless there is a thunderstorm or someone in the family has died. (The only situations where I have slept with my parents.)

Then if you think sleeping with children is wron how about passing a law that makes it illegal, instead of just complaining because somebody did it....

Mommy and Daddy allowing their babies to sleep with them is one thing, but when an adult makes arrangments to sleep with little boys (or girls) and prefers the company of others to their own (children, that is...) Hmmm... One might start to think we let another Pedo slip through our grasp... Did anyone happen to get a glipse of Jacksons' "Coffee Table" book? You know, the one with all of those little boys in their artistic little poses... Fans need to walk away, rather than profess their love of a deviant (by his own admission and by the real evidence presented)...

Perhaps Jackson was talking about his own children... What parent HASN'T slept with their kids??? ########################## The only very few times I slept with my children when much younger than 13 years old.....was when they had scary dreams. We made it a point not to get into that habit, that so many parent do - which is a mistake for the children to sleep in the parents bed and parents in the children's bed as a nightly practice.

Celebrity status = money= unlimited attorney hours = defense verdict. Poor = no access = prosecution verdict. Take it to the bank. This verdict has absolutely nothing to do with truth, race, merit or justice. The only recent exception is Martha Stewart and the upcoming Enron trial...

MJ specifically said that he gives them the bed, and he sleeps on the floor.

But he also said it was okay for him to sleep with children that are not his own and he said that he has. That is what I watched him say on TV. And you?
