This is a private matter made public. However, knowing what I now know, I hope that Alec Baldwin reflects on this situation and realizes that despite any level of frustration, his daughter should not be the recipient of emotional and verbal abuse, the kind he subjected her to in the voicemail he left her. Every word will chip away at her, at their relationship, and he will have to work hard to regain her trust and respect. I received a similar call from my dad when I was 16, under similar circumstances, and I can tell you, I remember every word like it was yesterday. You are the parent, Alec; always keep that in mind. Leave the message for Kim-even if she never receives it...you've let it go and protected your daughter.

I've never been a fan of Alec Baldwin. And I'm no longer a fan of Ms Basinger. They are both in need of serious counseling. Their personal war has been raging on for 6 years. Thus Ireland has been witness to this garbage for over half of her life. Obviously she has no idea what a parent is. She should've been taken away from them when it was evident they were both unfit. Kim is as rediciulous as Alec. She uses Ireland to push his buttons. And he's too stupid to see it. So while they continue to play their games, Ireland will continue to suffer.

This is exactly how our JUSTICE system FAILS children! 

The courts should be lookiing out for people just like this.  And require COURT ORDERED COUNSELING for the both of them.  And if they do not complete it, Jail time.

Systems are failing our kids today and we wonder why we have so many disfunctional kids in todays world?  You can bet Kim talks to her daughter the same way and bashes Daddy.  There is no way that the both of them are not using this child for their gain.  And the Judge who is  in charge of all this should have his bench given to another judge.  He doesn't have the skill it takes to handle divorce cases obviously.........What divorce takes that long?  Even with children the max should be 6 months..  Shame on the California system for allowing that game to continue in their courts.

i saw the interview ..ithought it was well done... i saw  a man that loves his child but his frustrated with the courts over his visitation rights.i  dont excuse what he said at all.. he was angry with kim.. and took it out on his daughter,

lets hear kim's side of the story now...??  it is unfortunate it had to become public at all..its sad that someone did this to his daughter, she has to live with this....  seems to m,e that kim is  using  thier child as a pawn.. its sad..their childs happiness is the only thing that should  matter.. and someday ireland may resent kim if she doesnt already... you know what they say about payback...come back to bite you on the rear.........   

I think Michael Baldwin should win an oscar. He's a great actor. His latest movie got rave reviews.
