From the Wikipedia article you posted:
"However, a correlation between testosterone levels and aggression does not prove a causal role for testosterone," and, "in contrast to some long-standing theories, various experiments have
failed to find a relationship between testosterone levels and
aggression in humans."
The fact remains that millions upon millions of Americans have used steroids, and a tiny, tiny percentage of them committed violent criminal acts. What percentage of people commit violent acts while under the influence of alcohol?
Also, steroid abuse in high schools is anything but a large problem. Last year, Texas spent $6 million on high school steroid testing. You'd expect with money being spent like that, there would be hundreds of kids caught doping. The testing, however, caught 11 people using steroids. Yes, 11 out of 28,934 tests. How many of those 28,934 kids abuse much more dangerous drugs like alcohol and cocaine?
The entire anti-steroid movement is a witch hunt, propagated by baseless fears and lack of research. An adult over 18 years of age should be able to do what they want with their body, and they should be able to legally pay for medical supervision of their use. Maybe next time you cite Wikipedia, you'll read the actual studies before posting them.
