No way. No one was able to give me a single good reason to do so. All they could offer were "potential" benefits, but nothing substantial. No one could explain to me why my son "needed" immediate surgery on his genitals when his European cousins do just fine without being circumcised. The whole thing just stunk of a nonsensical cultural ritual that the doctor wasn't eager to dismiss. I can't speak for my less enlightened peers, but I'm beyond blood rituals. Thanks.

My son is now going on 5 years. No problems. He's a happy kid.
