I think the story was "foreclosure at the Kitchen table" right? Anyway, you're right, they didn't provide alot of information. I've been going crazy trying to accumulate information with all the so-called titles ABC throws out like "Project Life Line" and others to be able to help my family member going through this dilema. (They can't even afford a computer, much less pay for the phone to receive internet service.) Their time is running out and no one seems to want to come on board with the plans that our President has implemented to help those in need. Do you have any additional information I can relay to them? They have already gone to court (with three young children in tow) and asked for an extension. This is a family affected by predatory lending practices resetting their payments over $1000 per month and refuse to work with them. I find alot of mortgage companies are not held accountable for their actions. Regardless of the "woes" of the mortgage companies the news reports, they would rather have an empty, abadoned house that squaters can live in and destroy, knowing they still have to go through legal process and/or eviction.
I would appreciate any information you can provide.
