I will be flying from Baltimore to Omaha the second week of August. I am not looking forward to it. The biggest hassle to me is having to get to the airport extra early just to make it through security. I think they need to have a "How to go through security' class for first time flyers. Or at the least give them their own line. They don't take their shoes or jackets off, empty their pockets or carry the proper size of liquids. I saw a women at Logan Airport in Boston try to go through the metal detector with her luggage. That freaked the TSA out.
And forget trying to check luggage. With the new liquid rules, the line to check baggage goes out the door. That's why I jam everything into one carry on bag even if it means wearing the same pair of pants for more than one day.
