I don't think that if you get turned down for the loan that you would qualify for the grant. FEMA doesn't really seem to know what they are doing right now. All the reports that people in motels will have to find some other place to go by december first and then switching their minds. Come on give the victims a break. All these trailer homes that they have sitting empty and yet they have all these people placed in hotels and motels through out the country. What did they pay for these trailer homes for then if they are just going to leave them sit there empty. One other thing that I don't under stand is why, we have all the prefab home companies in the US did they have to go to Canada to buy all these trailer homes? How does buying trailer homes from Canada help boost our Economy? In my opinion FEMA needs to get their heads on straight and finish what they started. These people that are living in hotels and motels may not want to go back to NO but then they should start looking for jobs where they are or where ever they are going. We as tax payers are getting upset with those who are abusing the system. Do what you have to do and get back up on your feet. FEMA isn't out there paying for motel rooms and handing out credit cards for those to go out and get drunk.
