"Atheists have rights to talk about their philosophy on religion just as anybody else. To object to their opinion is a personal issue but to attempt to deny their right of expression is unlawful and also stupid. We are a country that respects all creeds and religions. Are we not? When we lose tolerance and respect we become biggots and intolerable human beings. That is what some organized religions do to their followers." -irritateu2
Uhhhhgreed. And most theists on this board are very respectful towards the view of atheism, though some parts of society are not. Generally, I think churches are respectful too, but the mass public who has no devout ties to any religion are those who might come off the brashest. The mass public is often very "flocky" too, with the bandwagon mentality for fashion and who has the bigger lawn, and "omg! did you see that Bill at church has had a dent in his car for 6 months now and hasn't repaired it, or even waxed it! omg! what does that mean! He must not take very good care of things!" So I guess the biggest insult for "####" lies on the mass public who just does whatever the television tells them to. Well, I guess I would rather be part of a flock led by a person rather than part of a flock led by a tv or corporate America lol. The issue is when atheists such as Physicsisphun start condescending every theist because they believe in a tooth #### instead of the flying evolving spaghetti monster, or spouting that Christians shouldn't be able to preach the gospel or communicate their faith to others. They almost always don't realize that they evangelize their own faith in atheism and/or evolutionism in a much more brash "attack you" mentality than any Christian evangelist. And I certainly don't give props to any evangelist (Richard Dawkins, for example...a very ignorant evangelist), Christian or otherwise, who wishes to come off brash to another person. Thats when I feel obligated to blow their bogus bias outta the water.
