My 17 year old son was just diagnosed with EOE as well. Allergic to dust mites, pollens and eggs. He has no symptoms yet his eosinophil count is off the chart per a biopsy of the esophagus. In May an allergy pill became impacted in his throat. Could not even swallow spit. Appears to be a newly recognized chronic disease. Does anyone know long term effects of this disease?
