Your advice came at a perfect time for me. I was just turned down by what seemed like a very promising job opportunity in NYC. I'm a recent college grad, with a degree in writing, and my goal is to find a job in the city. But as a Pennsylvania resident, it's hard for me to make weekly trips into the city. I do plan on relocating if I find a job out there. Do you have any advice on how to produce a resume and cover letter that won't have me overlooked because I live out of state?
