Dream:

For over 25 years I have had the same nightmare. I wake up screaming and remember that I was dreaming and then suddenly a mans face in the dark is right in front of my face almost as if he is falling on me. I can go for weeks or months and not have this dream, and then have had the same dream 3 nights in a row.

 

Interpretation:

Dreaming the same dream for 25 years is suggestive of a deep-seated issue/fear.  The issue/fear taunts you and because you feel as if you cannot address it - it appears to lurk and pursue you - in darkness.  You need to deal with the root cause of your pain.  It could in fact be a silent anger issue you are struggling with.
