The surge may not be lost as the president has changed the definition of success.  With 10's or 100's dead each week he can no longer promise peace, only an "acceptable level of  violence" as success.  This president and the executive have failed the people of the United States and should be impeached for their failures.  It is flip-flopping to change definitions as the president has because the surge is a failure.
