Pres. Bush spoke this morning((07/15/08))..and a small part of that speech mentioned how the mortgage crisis really destroyed the RE-FINANCING of homes...I don't think Wall Street had a single impact here..unless some of its former associates went into that market to mess things up..as to WHY this would happen from Wall Street..??..I don't think it did at all..I myself have had many instances that technology is hated..looking at the mess I would say the most tech saavy companies would NOT be in such a mess..or would have some warning((less the outright traitiors))and there have been warnings about such things..I can't see Wall Street having messed up on COLLECTION Practices...but I can see the cheap business shot of writing phony contracts and useing time to collect minor payments..leaving traces where they lay...the lost LAPTOPS really say alot about smarts..most times I think the LAPTOPS were thrown away because they were tampered with..I don't really believe the "stolen" story about them..so thieves are right where they should be...and attempting to find the "soft underbelly" has many more considerations...about getting even(or Justice)...one percepion about business crime or even crimminal crime--the people are just general losers anyway...if they tend to use a business to break into some other business that attempts to be upwardly moving...it should fall inside the Homeland Security investigation.[end]
