It means America is finally coming out, slowly but surely.

Atheism and America-How do the two interact?

As soon as the Pat Robertsons of the country go away, as soon as the Discovery Institute goes away and as soon as the other religions in this country learn to respect Atheism and not be afraid of it then America and nonbelievers will interact just fine and that is what is happening as we speak. :)
