 I just want to say that you are completely correct.  I was in the military and was recently retired due to injuries and I can tell you I feel your frustration.  All they do is hand out meds and send people off.  They think it will all be fine until something drastic happens that shouldn't.  The only advice I can give you is to write your congressman, senator, and any other organization you can think of.  Send these people letters until they do something.  That is what they are there for.  That is what they were elected for...for the people.  Please do all you can for your husband as you have to take care of yourselves because no one else is going to.
