Atheists see the fighting and bloodshed and get disheartend.

There have never been wars created because of the belief that there are no gods. They have been either over religious beliefs or greed.  Yes, we look at all of the reasons that people of faith have demonized those who are not like them and have killed or been killed because of and we don't want any part of it.  It's absolutely ridiculous that after 2000 years none of you have learned a damn thing.

They profess the glories of science and the scientific process; but do not engage in it.

Wrong.  We live in the world called REALITY.  Our beliefs are based in irrefutable fact. We not only engage in the scientific process, we structure our beliefs with the same process.  In other words, if it cannot be tested to be factual, it gets kicked to the curb.  It is religion that does not engage in science or the scientific process.  If what science proves doesn't line up with you rule book, no amount of factual evidence or explanation is going to get you fools to change your minds.  We prove that the "great flood" of Noah didn't happen and yet you won't believe it.  We prove that the Earth is older than 6000 years and you won't believe it.  We prove that evolution is how man and every other species on the planet has come to be what they are today and you won't believe it.  Face it, you are all stuck in a 2000 year old rut that you have no ability to free your mind in order to get out of it. 

The books of the various faiths are readily available in the USA.  They either profess condemnation of God, or they take science to be God for them.

Not one atheist has ever said that science is or is like any type of god.  Quit making stuff up.  Most of us are more than happy to allow you the right to believe whatever you want to about the existence of gods.  For some reason though, you condemn us, and everyone who doesn't believe what you do, to your delusional existence of hell for not believing what you do.  How about letting everyone be who they are going to be and getting the hell out of their business for a change.  You know, acceptance of others, just not lest ye be judged, and all that stuff that you all espouse as being so important in you faith.  How about practicing what you preach for a change and being tolerant of others...

Science can be a religion as well.

No, it can't and it isn't.  Period.

Is the Big Bang a fact or a theory still yet to be proven?

The evidence is all that we have to go on and it suggests that the big bang is a real thing that most probably happened.  You ever heard of the expansion theory that clearly shows that a big bang must have happened for our universe to be expanding as it is???  Read a #### book once in awhile would you please??

Just as you have the 5 Pillars of Islam; athiests take The Standard Model, Big Bang Theory, String Theory, M Theory, Evolution; which are as yet unproven to be articles of faith.

You haven't even got a clue how science works do you....  These are not articles of faith.  They are working theories based on factual evidence.

There are those now that take Aliens to be god(s) saying that they created us. Who or what created them? Who is the ultimate creator of all?

2000, 10,000 or 100,000 years ago, if aliens were to have landed on our planet, they would have been revered as being gods.  If there are still people out there who think that an intelligent alien species could be a god, then they are just plain stupid.  Why does there have to have been a physical being that created everything we know that exists today.  Can't it be good enough to know that we are here, we exist just as everything else does and be happy with that?  The reason for why it all exists as it does right now is not yet within our grasp of learning.  But just because it isn't doesn't mean we have to blame it on a magical super being that just exists without ever having been created either.  That would be just plain silly.
