Why is it - around and alive for over 8,000 years - going extinct? The answer to that Q will tell us why we may be endangered too, or vulnerable to conditions we don't know about well. Protect our wild animals and our water, air and soil - we might be able to survive by doing that: ^^^^^^^^ People won't do that because they see themselves as the dominators and conquerors of Nature and not part of it. They do that wearing hard-soled shoes, walking on asphalt, concrete and linoleum, to feel the illusion that they like nature but don't want to get any of it on them, and that they are not a part of it, without which none of us would be here. They still would love to live in a world without plants, animals and any other non-human life. Some don't even like the sun.
