David Michaels; "Doubt is Their Product", Oxford University Press, 2008. A truly frightening book. An illustration of the now meaningless words of the Pre-amble of the US Constitution in the hands of those who we allow to lead  and care for us. I would have classed this book as a conspiracy theory were it not for its acknowledgements and references.

 

      I have read chapters, researched the references and sat dumbfounded thinking of the ramifications of what Michaels reveals about science and scientists selling out; dumbfounded.
