To Bob and Doug's family, friends , and co-workers: In 1995 my nephew was in a terrible accident that left him with massive brain injuries and crushed bones all over his body. He was in a coma for almost 3 months. The first month we didn't know day to day if he was going to live. He did come out of the coma and with a lot of determination on his part and a lot of prayers from many people and some tremendous care from facilities that deal with these kinds of injuries, he now lives a pretty extraordinary life. He has done things that the doctors at first thought would never be possible, like walk and go back to finish college with honors. Today he is working on his Masters in rehabilitation counseling to help others that have sustained brain injuries. I tell you this in hope that it will give you strenght and hope for full recovery for your loved ones. My thoughts and prayers go out to both Bob and his family and Doug and his family.
