Ummmmmmm....unfortunately, too many adults simply butt out when a child is being abused. Many of us who've experienced life with an abusive parent (or more than one parent) have gone on to make it our life's purpose to be an advocate for ALL children. Nope....not gonna butt out when children are being wounded to the core and adults are sitting around talking about how it's no one's business but the parents of the child involved, and how "everyone makes mistakes and says things they don't mean". Sorry...I don't buy it.
