Boomers are starting to retire. This will cause a worker shortage in many areas. Some places like to hire older workers because they are much more dependable, and the employer gets so much experience and knowledge. I think we workers just need to make ourselves as valuable as we can. We need to stay healthy, strong and upbeat! Is it easy? No, it is not. Options are wonderful things. A college degree is something that can never be taken away from you. It is worth the hard work. Some people are not brought up with the dream of college and this is unfortunate. Do what you can to help your children get a good foundation.
