Where does this instinct to want to live come from?
Living things have this instinct for life and sometimes this instinct is damaged by a sense of hopelessnes or outside influences
for example a beached whale that even after being returned to the water will still end up beached again
a teenager who cannot see a reason to live decides it would be better to die
What if after they die, they are given a hope that would encourage them to want to live? What if they could witness a life without evil? What if they could have experienced this before they died?
The difference between being saved before the end instead after the end. Finding that the air above the water was not poisonous after all. Would they appreciate the people who tried to reassure them that that air was not poisonous or the people who guaranteed them that it was poisonous?
We will all see in the end, that there is a good reason to see the Kingdom of Heaven before we die.
