Email received from many friends advise ABC news employees have been notified in writing they cannot wear American Flag lapel pins or other patriotic insignia with the reasoning that ABC should remain neutral about "causes".  If you are AMERICAN, if you work in America and you are PROUD of America and our flag, why can they not wear a lapel pin to show their support? I understand all this came about on the 9/11 tragedy.

"Since when is support for preventing our death & destruction some sort of a cause? Since when is patriotism to be discouraged."

We don't go to other countries and demand they not show their support in their countries. Why are we attacked about this by so many and why are so many people we once respected turning against what we stand for?

America is a far cry from what it use to be but it is people like you and the weak people in Washington that has damaged our country.

I was raised by a military father and raised to love and respect our flag and country. ABC brass, if this is true, I am thoroughly ashamed of you,. THIS is our country! THAT is OUR flag, a symbol of America !! The heart of this country and yes, In God We Trust!!  If this is factual, I will not be watching ABC news or any other program and will lobby my family, friends and neighbors to abandon ABC
