My belief is that of the Holy Bible. God have us free will. If people choose a religion other than Christianity, that is there free will, freedom of choice. Christians should not force their beliefs and no other religion should force their belief.
It only matters what you the individual believes. Quit making a big deal if others do not believe what you believe. I feel I am right in my belief just as other religions believe they are right. So what, believe what you want to. The people who founded the government of the United States were Christians. I think. They did put on the currency, "In God We Trust".
Anybody can say, "In God We Trust". But my question is, "Was money their God or were they conveying their belief that they believed that Jesus is the son of God and that he came not to condemn the world but to save it." I believe that all who claim to be a Christian should make it a point to really read and study the Holy Bible and learn what Jesus really wants us to do as Christians. One thing he said is to treat others like you want to be treated. He also said, "Vengeance is mine. If you have an enemy, pray for him." Then if God feels that person is truly an enemy, he will change his heart in the right way. No harm done, right?
Here is my personal story. It really happened. I was beginning my career in a government position. There was a long time employ in this office where i worked. She saw me as a threat to her in some way I guess. She gave me a hard time about everything I did. It got to the point where I dreaded to go to work any day. I would feel sick to my stomach. There was a big "blow-up" about a message I gave to a relative that called for her when she was out of the office. She claimed I gave he incorrect information about where she was at the time she was out of the office that day. We got into a big argument in the office and the boss called both of us into his office. He was very cool with his opinion. He said, " Don't sweat the little stuff, and everything is little stuff." Now, this did not seem to effect my co-worker at all. Several days later and then one night of reading the Holy Bible, I read passage to pray for your enemies. So then, I prayed for her that she would see what she was doing to me. This lady had a bad heart to begin with. That next day, she had a heart attack and survived, thank God. But after that, she was extremely nice to me and became one of my best friends.
