Salam:

Why do religions fight? If there are inter-religious fighting that has nothing to do with economics or politics; then it is the matter of worship. The Muslim will chide the Hindu and Christian because they pray to statues believing that God inhabits those statues. What do the religious texts of the Hindus and Christians say about praying to statues and pictures?

With regard to the Christian; the Bible clearly gives an injunction against the making of images or depictions.

The Hindus have the Vedas, the Vedas are the religious texts of the Hindus, not the Baghvad Gita or anything else. Those came after the Vedas.

What do the original texts say? If I am correct, the Hindus say that The Divine manifested his will on Earth in several forms. From those forms they have made many myths. The fact remains that those forms are NOT The Divine; so why do the Hindus pray to them?

Muslims are adamant that The Creator/Divine cannot be made statues of. Those statues are made from human hands and are not God.

Atheists see the fighting and bloodshed and get disheartend. They profess the glories of science and the scientific process; but do not engage in it. The books of the various faiths are readily available in the USA.  They either profess condemnation of God, or they take science to be God for them.

Science can be a religion as well. Is the Big Bang a fact or a theory still yet to be proven? Just as you have the 5 Pillars of Islam; athiests take The Standard Model, Big Bang Theory, String Theory, M Theory, Evolution; which are as yet unproven to be articles of faith.

There are those now that take Aliens to be god(s) saying that they created us. Who or what created them? Who is the ultimate creator of all?

La Ilaha Illa Allah(There is not diety or anything to be worshipped but Allah) wa 'Isa ar-Rasool Allah(Jesus is the messenger of Allah)  wa Muhammad ar-Rasool Allah(Muhammad is the messenger of Allah).

     Belief is not always truth.
