Bob and Lee,

It is so wonderful to see you back Bob and Lee the strength and courage you have is remarkable!

I am writing to seek your advice. Todd  is the 33 year old son of a very dear  friend.  Approximately 2 years ago he moved to TN from Pa. and 18 mos. ago was in a freak accident and suffered his first traumatic brain injury and as a result has lost the 2 frontal lobes in his brain. His family was give a 0% chance for his survival. He came back so well that he was even driving! One month ago he fell, hit his head and suffered another brain bleed. He has no income, insurance or assets. Also he has been denied SS disability 3x. He is being looked at by SS as a 33yr old with a college degree! Currently he is a patient at The Palace ( a skilled nursing/rehab facility) in Red Boiling Springs, TN. He also has had cardiac problems since the age of 10. In 2000 he was accepted by Columbia Presbyterian Hospial, NC/Dr. Oz's transplant list, at age 25. Again, so many times the drs. prepared the family for his death.  Todd also suffers from severe depression and is in need of neuro/psch help. I have a lifeline that he Mother composed and I can email to you if you might have an interest in reading it.

Bob, will you tell us where you received treatment and how perhaps we can receive help for Todd at this facility or some other one? Family and friends are working on having him return to Pa. when he is medically ready. We are researching TBI facilities but we are being run in circles. His Mother is a widow, working full time so I am doing some "leg work" for her to lighten her load.

I look forward to your reply with any information.

Holly

Thank you for your time.

Best of luck to you.
