Because health is so critical and everyone deserves a equal chance at life, its hard to make a standard for picking and choosing. I know hospitals have waiting lists and the process seems old and outdated but that actually is the most simple and fair way--of course our doctors need to get on creating a device to replace those inactive kidneys because its such a growing problem, but until a cure is found or a medical miracle occurs, I say First come, First served. And because money does matter if you can buy your way to the top (of the list that is) I agree the option should be made available but controlled, like through specialized hospitals/treatment centers, many of which already exist. If you could spend everything you had to save your life, many of us would choose to do it. Money matters and everything requires a great deal of work and effort,  so although I don't agree that "Kidney's for sale for $20,000," is the moral thing to do, I think money can and will play a part in allocation, it just shouldn't be the sole or only effective mode for treatment.
