I know there would never be enough words to convey what I feel but I would like to express my gratitude to the brave men and women serving around the world as well as their families at home.   The sacrafices you are making do not go unseen by the citizens of our country.    We pray for you daily; in Mass each weekend and ask that God keep your loved ones safe and that they be allowed to return to you soon.    My heart aches as I watched the children in the news clip.   The time away from their father or mother, or both as is the case with some, can never be replaced or relived.   I realize the worry and stress they are suffering will affect their ability to focus on school work or other activities.    God bless each and every one of you who are giving so much of yourself.
