While I tend to get emotional about many things, nothing has touched me like your story...except possibly for the work you have been doing since your recovery.  Throughout reading your book, I quite often found myself moved to tears - and not always the 'sad' ones.  I can't imagine having to go through what family has endured, and for you all to handle it with such love and grace is a true testament to your love for each other and your children.  Your story is an inspiration to me...it gives me something to look forward to and something to look for when I find my true love.

On top of all that, to recover and focus your work on our soldiers and our military is truly phenomenal.  Too often are the most important people in our country overlooked; it's refreshing to know that you are on their side, fighting for not just their lives, but the quality of their lives.  While I can help on a 'smaller' scale, I am relieved to know that you can bring their stories to us and to the entire world.

Thank you so much for everything you have done and continue to do.  It's hard for me to put into words the admiration and appreciation I have for you, so I apologize if this comes off as rambling.  I believe that all things happen for a reason, and God has brought you and your family through your injury so that you could help our soldiers and bring a voice to the ones that seem to get left behind.  I feel like you are their guardian angel on earth, and I thank God for that.

God Bless your family and again, thank you.
