This past week I purchased a Toyota Hylander Hybrid car and am absolutely amazed at the technology.
The EPA around town for this vehicle is 31 MPG. Because it has an onboard visible display showing when one is driving on electricity or gas or recharging the batteries I am convinced that I can better the EPA by changing my driving habits. Most people that I have talked to think that a hybrid has to be plugged into one's house electricity in order to recharge the batteries. This is not so, the batteries are recharged every time you take your foot off the accelerator or engage the brakes. For a continual 4 wheel drive vehicle I can honestly say that this is truly the best automobile I have ever owned and is a sure way to conserve fuel and reduce polution to the environment. Hats off to Toyota.
