I reject the new "argumentative" format!


I am a long, long viewer of This Week.   I particularly liked Christine Amanpour and her intelligent, focused and informative debate and observations.   Though George is no Christine, he too can have his moments.  However, it is obvious that serious and offputting changes have recently been made by the programming director.   I'm sure you've noticed...

Now the guest commentators are addressed and allowed to begin, but interruptions are now both allowed and promoted in McGlaughlin-like, free-for-all style.   This is not only disconcerting and choppy, but cheapens and devalues the show which as a result is cheapened and far less informative and hard to follow.  

It was clear that even the guest commentators were uncomfortable with this less than professional style.   Personally I will give this another week or two, but if this bar room brawl continues, sadly I'm gone.   PD, get your act together!
