Mr Brezinski, if you remember the early years of the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, you went to the Khyber Pass. You stood there pointing towards Afghanistan and told a group of Afghan elders that this is your land and you can take it back and we will help you.  When the Soviets were defeated and driven from Afghanistan, you cowards abandoned them.  It took the tragedy of 9/11 to awakenen your sleeping conscience.  How dare you sit on TV with a stupid smirk on your face asking "What is the US objective in Afghanistan?'  How about penance for our moral culpability in the deaths of nearly 2 million Afghans?
