As a retired Viet-nam Vet who served my country faithfully for 22yrs, I have absolutely no sorry feelings

for Lt. Watada's actions. He is a disgrace to officers and the military. Any soldier who refuses to

do their job weather in peaceful times or at war is not a soldier and should be kicked out with

all the bad reasons listed to scar their record for life. He knew when he signed on the dotted

line that he was government property and he dis.obeyed  a order to go to Irag, and for that all of

those soldiers who did go and die for the cause, it just makes the Lt. more of a traitor,. He could

have gone and still complained but at least he would have done his duty. He is not a soldier and

never will be.
