Dear Mr. Gibson,
Tonight while watching your newscast I was disappointed to hear you say that banks aren't giving loans.   Today I wrote a construction loan for a sport fishing boat and yesterday I made a line of credit available to a small business to assist with their cash flow needs.  I am the City Executive for a well capitalized, well run commercial bank that is and will continue to support our community with loans and other bank products.  Over the past few weeks I have listened to the news media make these general, broad and inaccurate reports.   There are still many well run banks in this country offering services to their communities. This kind of reporting negatively impacts our economy by creating panic and misinformed people.
