when our country was formed we did not have a way for us to voice our opinions in a timely manner so we sent senators and representatives to Washington to vote for us (supposedly in way the majority of their constitutes felt but over the years they vote more for what is good for them not us.) My question is why do we need them to representus now in this internet age there is no reason we cannot vote ourselves....I mean let's get real we can vote for American Idol and DWTS. we could vote or give our opinions instantaneously in this day and age. so why are we paying taxes for someone to go to Washington and then they are not voting for what you and I want when today we have the means to speak for ourself? We could sure spur the economy by giving us a break paying taxes for non-representation...isn't that why we revolted against England and formed our naion and Constitution? it is time we vote on bills ourselves we don't need someone to do it for us anymore. think of all the. special interest. groups money saved ..;)
