How do I go about getting Nightline to do a story on bomb sniffing dogs?

Many people are in an up roar over profiling both for and against. I really don't think it makes a difference.

Our leaders are focused on this list or that list, they are focused on travelers from select countries or certain religions, faiths and nearly every other way of isolation specific people.

I see the root problem as explosives made it on a plane. I don't care who, why, from where or anything other than a bomb made it on the plane.

Terrorist are diligent and cunning. They have access to many lost souls wanting to be martyrs by hurting Americans and unfortunately they have time to try and try and try again.

They will relocate and lay low until they get the call. As with 12/25/09 they will improve at getting a newbie terrorist armed, by security, on a plane and put us at risk before their name makes it on any list.

Bomb sniffing dogs are good enough for our President, our police, our military and major sporting events but they are only used at airports after a (near) tragedy. Why? Are they capable? According to the handlers they are!

Must we wait until a terrorist is successful to implement this option? If these animals actually do work why not use them now? If they work is not the lives of our loved ones important enough to use them? What about costs. We have given billions to banks car companies and others so I would think we has Americans deserve the security these animals may offer.

How about it ABC could you look at this option and prove it work or doesn't work.

Can anyone help with this issue?
