I hope and pray that you both will recover to the fullest extent. I hope that your families find comfort from each other and are able to spend "quantity" time with you both. I can't even pretend to know how difficult and painful the injuries and recover are for you both. I am so proud of you both for being brave enough to enter into such a whirlwind of violence and hate to search for the truth. I hope you found it while you were there. When times get tough for me and mine, I find comfort in the Holy Ghost and my knowledge of Heavenly Father, His Son, Jesus Christ, and their Plan of Salvation. I hope you all have something similar to fall back on for support in this difficult time.
